''Cunda''  Project

For this personalized commission, I created a series of paintings for Naz Su Cunda Hotel on Cunda Island, Balıkesir, TR. Each artwork was designed to reflect the unique concept of individual rooms, drawing inspiration from the island’s landscapes and rich Turkish idioms.

To maintain the integrity of the space, the paintings were seamlessly integrated into the architecture, mounted as if they were an inherent part of the walls themselves. Presented here is a curated selection of the project, which includes surreal interpretations, a deeply personal portrait, and large-scale landscapes.

 

This collaboration allowed me to blend intimate meaning with artistic vision, bringing the spirit of Cunda into a collection that celebrates memory, culture, and a physical connection to the environment.
